Some of the new Psychology

Today, in contrast to a few years ago, we can see many different areas related to psychology, some of these are: occupational,educational, neuroscience,etc... However, my favorite areas are Communitary psychology and Victimology.
In my opinion, these perspectives will be addressed together, since the empowerment of the communities and the protection of human rights. Included in this, the importance of the language in the understanding of different realities, connecting equally the constructivism with other areas and not only with clinic psychology . The word in this case, will be impregnated with our experience, being able to express the understanding of the world.

For example, in Santiago,some organizations  are being created that picked these elements, like ''Fundación para la confianza'', that adresses the complexity of the child sexual abuse since the prevention, the oral elements in focus groups and the orientation to victims in the law system.

In my opinion, these elements must be considered equally in the criminology area, because the subjects involved in this, many times have been breached.

Sweet sweet technology

Like all millenials I have a necessity of use many technology things, principally to study and communicate to others. In first place, and more than all other thing, I use the computer to everything; read texts, write my works to the university, organize meetings via skype with coworker, etc...

 For this reason, I don't know how to live whithout my computer, all my live is in this machine!. 

In second place, if we talk about tecnology I believe that the phone it's very important, not only for me, for everybody. The necessity that we have to use this thing is annoying, principall because affects to our real and healthy connection. This problematic it's an objetc of study today because the time that we are connected with the virtual world and with our responsabilities about everything be able to produce anxiety, The work never ends!.

I talk about this when I mention the phone cause I think that this machine it's present and on in every moment of our daily, sometimes even when we need to sleep, but we prefer look cats and dogs on Instagram 👀.

Although, I can't talk ill about the tecnology, his advance was really important to fundamental world things like medicine, sports, kitchen, etc...❤

Why did you choose this career?

First, I didn't choose study psychology in first place, but now, in my 4th year studying this I really love this career. when I applied to this career I believe that the university has a practical approach, but it is more academist at least in the first years. Specifically, in the beginning of the first year, it was very difficult be motivated. I think that the problems of this was the change of city, because the life in Villarrica it's very different of the life here in Santiago, the pollution, the noise and all the light stimuli was complicated for my sleep hours and the anxiety.

In contrast, today I'm very motivated with my career because I learn about the law sistem in psychology and the community approach. To clarify, The law sistem in psychology is related to many areas like; the surveying, criminology, victimology, etc. I think that the working of this specific area undoubtedly need to be coupled of the community sense, correspondingly the community empowerment of those who was victims of violations in his human rights.

Moreover of this areas, I prefer line of study whith children and teenagers, consequently I hope do my internship in Cavas, a institution beloging to PDI.

Sofía Rivera Zelaya was born in 5th of march of 1998,  she is 21 years old and is from Villarrica, a city of Araucanía region. This place represent something magic for her for by its history and its people, so she feel proud to become of this city.

She came to Santiago in his birthday number eighteen, and the life for her change a lot; new job, new friends, new studies and of course, new home. In Villarrica his ocupation was work in kitchen, especifically in a cake shop ''Kuchenladen'', and now she only work in summer like a waitress in the ''Patio Bellavista''. This ocupation is a madness, because know how the people of here celebrate in weekend with people of many countries that they don't know is fantastic. In other way, she came to this city to study psychology in the university, and fortunately she love it, this career is wonderful, so in the future wan't job in this area, especially in a legal area.

Also, the things she does change here, before she only watch anime in his computer and eats a lot of cake, but now she develop love for many things; go to concerts (Aerosmith, Maiden, BTS, etc..), watch movies  in the cinema, watch series in Netflix (Vikings, The rain, Mind hunter, etc), eat things that I never taste before (gohan, shawarma, pizza with pineapple, etc...).
